Join us for a fun-filled evening as we raise funds for the Student Scholarship Fund. This special concert will feature the Tulsa Opera Traveling Voices and the International African Children’s Choir.
We will also have an auction and raffle for some special items!
All proceeds will benefit Petra Kids Ministries and the students in Aduku, Uganda. Your support of this important cause will have a lasting impact, and will help make a real difference in the lives of children in Uganda.
Support the Dream
Once upon a time, there was a young orphan girl named Petra Otee Mangesho who grew up in Uganda during a devastating war. Despite her difficult circumstances, Petra made a promise to her fellow orphans: “I am coming back for you!” she would say every day.
Her words were full of hope and determination to make a difference in the lives of those who were going through similar struggles to her own.
In 2009, Petra founded Petra Kids Ministries (PKM), a non-profit organization committed to restoring hope and building dreams for children in Uganda. PKM’s mission was to empower children in Uganda, and through their work, they established the Petra Christian School.
The school provides a nurturing environment where children receive a quality education and are empowered to become self-sufficient through employment and entrepreneurship. The organization believes that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and is committed to equipping students with the skills they need to succeed in life.
Through Petra’s promise and PKM’s commitment to education and empowerment, hope is being restored and dreams are being built for the children of Uganda. PKM’s vision is to create a Christian environment where students are valued, challenged, and grounded in Biblical principles, providing them with opportunities for a brighter future.
Today, Petra’s promise lives on through PKM’s work, changing the lives of children who once had little hope. Petra’s promise to her fellow orphans has been fulfilled, and her impact on the world will continue to inspire and empower others for years to come.

We will be meeting at the Bersen Community Center (700 S Boston Ave, Tulsa, OK 74119) on the 4th Floor in the Great Hall.
Traveling Voices
Join us for a night of heartfelt music that will stay with you long after the concert ends. Hear the beautiful voices of Tulsa Opera’s Traveling Voices. The talented Filstrup Resident Artists perform a variety of favorite musical pieces from the worlds of opera, pop and much more.
From Puccini to Rodgers and Hammerstein, these artists will leave you clamoring for more.
International African Children’s Choir
The concert continues with the wonderful performers from the International African Children’s Choir. They’ll bring a smile to your face and a song to your heart.

That’s not to mention our other awesome prizes this year, which include unique and one-of-a-kind items donated by local supporters and businesses. Winners will be announced at the end of the event.
All funds raised will help fund the PKM Student Scholarship Fund and support the mission and vision of Petra Kids Ministries.
