  • Gerald is a very intelligent student, his favourite subjects/courses are English and Mathematics. He is a lover of Debate especially on current political climate and historical facts. He also enjoys football and is very good at it. Gerald lives with his grandmother in Lira. The grandmother is taking care of 5 other orphans besides Gerald. Gerald's dream is to become a medical doctor in the future.

My family decided that we wanted to make a difference in the lives of young children and PKM has made this possible. Because of this program we now support five students. Having had the opportunity to travel to Uganda has reinforced and affirmed our commitment. Meeting our children for the first time was like seeing my own children for the first time. Our oldest student graduated with honors and we now support him as he has matriculated up to a highly competitive private high school. Our experience has influenced members of our extended family and they too now sponsor their own children.
